Between the villages Equihen and Le Portel lies the location of Kriegsmarine Station Nessel, equipped with a Mammut Fu.MO 51 radar station on a V143 bunker.
Next to the V143 bunker lie two 622 bunkers to house the crew for the radar station. In front of the V143, close to the coastline, lies the Flak battery with 6 L401 bunkers and some support and command bunkers to complete the battery.

At the north-west side of the village of Equihen lies close to the water purification installation, a St-bunker and some others on the edge of the dunes.
The 622 at the parking place is closed and hard to recognise. At the edge you can find a tunnel with a Vf shelter and down the slope lies a nice emplacement for a KwK 5cm gun. Because of the remains covered over the slope you can see that there where some more objects in the past.

Equihen, La Courtille

Behind the village of Equihen and around the highway number D119 lies the Luftwaffe Station Erika I, part of a radio system the Germans built along the coastline. An other station is still in Contentin/Manche in St. Pierre-Eglise.

Drive over the D119 and you see easily the big Sk-bunkers along the road. At the same side as those Sk bunker lies also a very nice 630 in the meadow and covered with bushes 2xVf2a with Flak on top and a L411A.
At the other side of the road spread over several small parts you can find some Flak emplacements placed on top of a Vf2a bunker and other supporting objects. We found also a kind of garage and close by a St or Vf bunker used as a machinery/generator bunker.

At the south-west side of the village of Equihen lies this location close to the local camping and trailer terrain. At the roundabout at the D119, take the lane into the direction of the beach, this is a one way road.
On the camping terrain at your right hand is a Vf3 in the bushes. Further on along the road at your left hand are some other bunkers and further to the coast in the meadows some others are visible.

Down at the beach of Equihen-Plage you can park your car at the parking place. Walk from here over the beach into the direction of Hardelot (south-west). After a view hundred meters you can see some bunkers on top of the dunes . At the inland side of the dunes there are some options to get into the dunes, because they are heavily over grown with sharp bushes. Around the corner and more on the edge of the dunes towards the villages you can search for, and hopefully find, the bunkers.
